“An attempt to understand whether what we do is enough.”

The question mark lies at the heart of this work.

It is an inner audit of effort, love, and sacrifice—an exhausting process of questioning one’s own adequacy, both for someone else and for oneself. Turned inward, the question “Satisfied?” becomes anxiety. Turned outward, it is the question the artist was afraid to ask aloud.

The ambiguity of who the question is truly directed at—oneself or another—remained a recurring thought throughout the creation of the work.
