This drawing from the mini-series “Women and Animals” depicts a young woman entering a forest.

At the edge of the woods, she is met by a deer, which can be perceived as either a threat or a companion. The atmosphere of uncertainty, combined with the excitement of encountering the unknown, gives the work its distinctive character.
