“The Fish” is a work that brings together the ideas of movement and stillness, chaos and silence, expressed through experimentation with the graphic technique of screen printing. Through the layered application of colour, the overlapping of textures, and the spontaneous flow of forms, the work explores how a two-dimensional surface can convey a sense of depth and spatial experience.

The fish motif represents energy, movement, and elusiveness. Its form is fragmented and dynamic, as if capturing a moment of intense motion and transformation. A sense of play and exploration emerges through the artist’s experimentation with colour and texture.

Spontaneous gestures, unexpected combinations of colours, and visible traces of the creative process introduce an element of childlike curiosity and discovery, while emphasising the process of creation itself as an essential part of the final expression.
