"Reminiscing" shows an elderly couple in the botanical garden of Strasbourg. They sit alone among the plants and specimens, did they bring these chairs especially, is it a tradition for them to sit together and enjoy the garden?

With their presence and calmness, they bring a peaceful harmony, which the artist in turn wanted to share with the viewer.
