Matej Vukovic

Matej Vuković (graduated in sculpture in 2021 at the Academy of Fine Arts in the class of Professor Petar Barišić) expresses himself through combining a wide variety of materials such as styrofoam, plaster, paper, cement and wood, but also industrial materials . such as water pipes . From all of the above, Vuković creates abstract sculptures encompassing the entire range of fullness of smoothed form: from those bubbly, cloud-like to elongated, seemingly "deflated" forms in which tubular shapes gain momentum towards height.
