Jessica Gobert's "Hiroshima mon amour" is inspired by the atmosphere of the film of the same name and carries a strong emotional tension. The central character is depicted in a state of introspection, enveloped in soft light and shades that suggest memory, loss and intimacy. The work uses a visual language of silence and distance to evoke the fragility and complexity of human relationships.
