"Buktinja was created through a research process, a search for experimentation in new performance procedures, wanting to expand knowledge in matter and the application of texture. In this research, a narration took place as a symbol of that previous perception that was burned in order to reach new knowledge.

The symbol in this work is the discovery of new parts of ourselves at the moment when we are faced with the truth that burns away all that is superfluous and unnecessary for the further journey. All those old and accustomed ways flee before this truth. I used oil on cotton canvas, oil because it is a material to which I have been dedicated for some time, and I also wanted to further explore the same material on a surface such as cotton canvas because it is easily accessible and suitable for experimentation.

The personal story was of an unconscious nature that emerged through an imaginative way that then revealed some subconscious sediments that filtered out in the painting itself. The further process required cleaning and refining both the surface and the whole in the motif. I want it to be interpreted in its own way. Foxes can be an archetype for many things, everyone tailors their story in their own way. The work subtly developed into a small 'series' of 3 works, in which it was enough for me to feel out a new approach and to throw out that random urge that then led me to something new and more conscious. It was created in one breath, it took me one day, because the formats are small and because of the rush that occurred at that moment and it required that it be thrown out as soon as possible. I think it carries an intriguing and questioning atmosphere that opens up an imaginative approach to interpreting the work itself.
