Time will heal, 120x100, Dante Luka Žanetić

Time Will Heal is about the weight of a single definition. A small lapse is lifted out of its context and treated as the full measure of a person, while everything around it goes unconsidered. The rider is told he has failed, but the image shows otherwise: he did not fall, he was shot down. Between being wrong and being made wrong, the work sits in the gap. Chance is also at stake. One chance can feel decisive, yet it counts for little once the ground is taken from under you. The handwritten passage about chasing a sinking sun closes the work on the one thing nobody controls. Time passes, and what it heals is still open.
