PRIČA IZA UMJETNIČKOG DJELA
The Loop depicts a man falling from a kind of temple, descending a staircase into a space that resembles a well. The composition creates a strong sense of depth and repetition, as if the fall continues endlessly, with no clear moment at which it might finally come to an end.
The well becomes a symbol of uncertainty and the loss of control — that moment when we lose our footing and no longer know where the fall will take us. The staircase, which would normally suggest a path leading somewhere, instead becomes part of an endless cycle with no obvious way out.
The Loop explores a feeling that can occasionally overcome us when we find ourselves in a situation beyond our control. The uncertainty of when the fall will end and where we will eventually land transforms into a sense of endless repetition, making the work a visual metaphor for anxiety, uncertainty, and the loss of solid ground.
